Abstract
The author advocates the adoption of activity recorders in the analysis of production machinery operations widely throughout the textile industry, as a means of achievingim-proved performance and lowered costs. After describing the several types of equipment and their applications to the study of textile-machine operations, the paper explains the procedure followed in analyzing the data recorded.
