Automatic Control of Water Distribution

While many modern water companies are equipped with data logging computers, there is no generally accepted methodology for utilizing the large quantities of accumulated data for the purpose of least cost control. The overall control concept presented, designed to take advantage of such data, includes system modeling, adaptive modeling, analysis of time varying demand, and optimal pump control.
