Abstract

In one of the earlier papers reported in two parts, the authors have presented the theory and the experimental results concerning the elastodynamic behavior of an endweighted elastic coupler of a four bar mechanism. The aim of this paper is to present some detail regarding the experimental setup for measuring the shaking force and briefly regarding the measurement of the elastic coupler response of a four bar mechanism. However, it is believed that this kind of design principle can also be used in other applications.
